The Client

Biopet is the largest manufacturer, importer, and distributor of pet supplies in Israel. They partnered with Emboodo to build a mega brand, expand their digital footprint, and become the go-to authority for pet owners and industry partners alike.

The Challenge

Pet care is one of Israel's most saturated and competitive spaces, with global brands, Wikipedia, and content publishers dominating the top of search. To break through, Biopet needed more than visibility - they needed authority. That meant building a content engine that pet owners would trust and return to, while standing out in a saturated market.

Emboodo Approach

We built a holistic organic growth strategy designed to turn Biopet into a trusted authority. That meant high-intent keyword targeting around pet breeds, conditions, and care, a content engine designed to educate pet owners. mobile-first UX improvements, and a curated link-building program to build domain authority. The focus was to boost search rankings and deliver a massive increase in ROI.

More Than Rankings - a Recognized Brand.

What started as an SEO push became something bigger, a content engine that turned Biopet into a recognized voice in Israel's pet care space. The traffic, the rankings, the new audience: all of it added up to a brand that pet owners actively search for and trust.

Keyword & Audience Research

Pet care is a brutally competitive space. Wikipedia and global publishers dominate the top of Google for almost every breed and pet-related query. We couldn't compete on volume alone, we had to find the right gaps.

We started by mapping high-intent keyword opportunities around dog and cat breeds, then narrowed the focus to the top breeds with the strongest search demand and the weakest competition. We also segmented by breed size, since smaller breeds were trending upward. This was a signal we caught early and built into the content roadmap from the start. Meanwhile, we launched a targeted link-building strategy, putting together a curated list of high-quality placement sites to boost authority.

Content Strategy & Authority Building

Next stage was content. We built a content engine designed for pet owners, covering breeds, health, training, nutrition, and care. Every piece was structured around real questions pet owners ask, written to genuinely help, and optimized to compete in a space dominated by Wikipedia and global publishers.

By the end of the project, we had built 1,500 new pages, each contributing to Biopet's domain authority and brand presence. Our content drove 30% of all organic traffic growth on its own.

Technical SEO & Mobile UX

Most of Biopet's traffic was mobile. So we ran a full technical audit using Google's inspection tools, identifying layout issues, text overlays, slow-loading pages, and broken internal links. We then implemented an internal linking strategy that wouldn connect related content and pass authority across the site.

The result: a site that ranked better, loaded faster, and kept visitors engaged longer.
